Indian Taco Truck is one of the Best Things About Working Here

Marc K., January 4th, 2011

Move over roach coach; this is San Francisco. Here, we stand in line for gourmet Tikka Masala Burritos and deconstructed Samosas off a truck. Delicious, culturally confused, pretend-blue-collar, de-con-yes-that’s-right-structed ... what more do you want to know about my hipness?

Lunch today was at “Curry Up Now,” possibly the most happenin’ destination restaurant on our block. Until it rolls off to another block, elsewhere. We love this truck. Follow it on twitter, facebook, yelp, its Web site, and then grab a big order of anything they offer to bring by our office. We might build you a free Web site.

Tyler M, September 3rd, 2010

I can’t believe how difficult it is to find a good Internet Service Provider in San Francisco. In the year 2010, it’s nigh impossible to get a good (20Mbs) symmetrical connection for less than $800 per month.

Multiple Wimpy buttons playing one at a time.

Tyler M, April 8th, 2010

Wimpy buttons are a great way to embed mp3s into your web page.

Until you have more than one on that single page. Then you end up with a cacophony of sounds as your user clicks multiple songs/sounds in a row as they play over eachother simultaneously. Horrible.

Shotwell Battle: Flash vs HTML5

Tyler M, March 18th, 2010

Flash has brought great interactive abilities and graphical innovations to the Web. Now that HTML5 is supported by the latest versions of the major (certainly all the important) browsers bringing standards-based transformations, filters and effects to coders’ hands, does that make Flash irrelevant?

No follow me? Thoughts on rel=“nofollow”

Tyler M, October 22nd, 2009

Every blog seems to have implemented the ol’ rel=“nofollow” on their comments’ names elements by now. What that means is that posting lots of comments around the Web using strategic keywords for your name doesn’t do anything anymore.
